waterfront of this port city is lined with
protected docks; a jumble of blocks and named
streets lie behind. Two views are above, with
an inset of tiny Liverpool in 1729. Below are
elevation drawings of important buildings, the
largest of which is the Customs House. Can
you find the homes of The Beatles? |

Both 7½ x 10½" (19 x 25
cm). Uncolored. Condition: The titled
sheet reveals a crack in the copper plate that
has picked up a line of ink; else very good.
A pair of maps,
together showing all of Ireland. The titled
map covers the southern half of the island;
period ships are in the waters to the east and
west. The untitled sheet covers the northern
part of Ireland and exhibits the early,
primitive configuration with no indentation at the
northwest. Large lakes are also found in the
north. |
