Nothing is more
central to a collection than the references that identify and
elaborate on the significance of the of the items that have been
assembled or which might complement those already accumulated.
Cartobibliographical references are still readily affordable and will
often repay their expense many times over in their educational value
and the attendant pleasure of knowing.
